London Welsh Rugby Club Policy statement relating to the use of video/photographic images

​

London Welsh Rugby Club recognises the need to ensure the welfare and safety of all young people playing rugby. London Welsh Rugby Club will follow the RFU/RFUW guidance for the use of images of young people.

The Club recognises that parent taking photographs and video of their children and their team is part of the enjoyment and celebration of the game.  As part of our commitment to ensure the safety of young people we will not permit photographs, video or other images including those taken via mobile phones of young people to be taken or used without the consent of the parents/carers and the young person. 

The Club will take reasonable steps to ensure that images that are intended for use in the promotion and celebration of the activities of the Club are used solely for that purpose. These images may be published on London Welsh websites, in programmes and promotional material. 

If you become aware that these images are being used inappropriately you should inform the Club Welfare Officer.

If at any time either the parent/carer or the young person wishes the data to be removed from the website, the Club Welfare Officer should be informed.

London Welsh RFC LTD receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history.   6. Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
