Organising Team Rugby Tours

Whether touring in Wales, other parts of the UK or abroad rugby tours are fantastic fun.  If you’re planning a tour for under 18 players, it is essential that you read the RFU Touring with Children Guide, which we are obliged to follow.

There is a lot of very sensible pointers and things to consider in the guide to help plan a safe and enjoyable tour.  As registered RFU Coaches by following this guidance you are protected by the RFU, so this is for coaches’ own protection as much as for the players, and to ensure insurance cover fully applies.

Ask the Club Welfare Officer for a draft Risk Assessment that is a good starting point.
