The Richmond wagamama team will attend both Minis Festivals across the season, enabling parents and players to sample their Asian inspired menu and fresh bowls, alongside running competitions for teams to win wagamama.
A player offer will also be introduced to invite players and families into the restaurant on home matchdays and Sundays during the season.

Girls rugby at London Welsh started two years ago with 4 players and has now grown to over 25 players across both age groups with an ambition to increase the number of age groups across the next couple of seasons in line with the RFU change in girls rugby.
Lisa Mak, Wagamama Richmond
“We wanted to support a local community club that echoes our inclusive culture at wagamama and to give something back to this wonderful group of girls and parents. We are delighted to sponsor London Welsh girls, who have grown so quickly as a team during the last two seasons. I can’t wait to come and watch them play their matches and welcome them to our restaurant. We are hoping that this partnership is the springboard to take this group to another level as they welcome more girls to the wonderful sport of rugby.’
Paula Cooper, Head of Girls Rugby commented,’ Having eaten at Wagamama quite a bit over the years, I was delighted to hear that they were going to be our first ever sponsor of London Welsh girls. The girls will benefit by wearing brand new matchdays shirts with the logo on it, an opportunity to win some vouchers each month and we are looking at having our Christmas party at the restaurant as well. In all my years of rugby, I have really enjoyed coaching this group and taken great delight in seeing the numbers grow and the children really enjoying themselves playing team sports. With Wagamama’s support, this will be the prefect springboard for this group to continue to develop as we welcome new players to London Welsh girls.
