Normal service resumed for Druids last Saturday. A home win against London Cornish 2 maintained their pressure on top spot and kept alive the ambition of winning MMT Premier at the first attempt. A penalty try, a converted try and a penalty gave Druids the 17-10 victory.
It’s a familiar time and place this Saturday when another 5pm kick off against Rosslyn Park, this time against their 4th XV. Just two wins in seven games places RP 4s just below RP Bs but with 25 league points they are 10 adrift of their more successful club mates. This weekend also marks the start of the second half of the MMT season and this is the reversal of the second match of the season where Druids ended up on the right side of a 29-12 scoreline. RP 4s went on to lose 50-5 to RP Bs, conceded the next match to Hackney and then picked up one of their two wins from a walk-over against Chiswick. They have not won on the pitch since the fixture against HAC in the opening round and our Druids will be determined to ensure that doesn’t change this weekend!
If you are not travelling to Guildford or are in the area on your way back then the Druids would certainly appreciate your support at Priory Lane.
