London Welsh League Structure confirmed for 23/24

The RFU has confirmed the league structure for Regional 1 South Central next season and there are some tasty moves and promotions!

We already knew that we would see Wimbledon promoted, Royal Wootton Bassett and Sutton & Epsom relegated and thus three new sides would arrive.

However, with no side coming down to the league (as was the case this season) and some level transfers and promotions, this is how we will line up:

Bournemouth

Bracknell

Brighton

Camberley

CS Stags

Hammersmith & Fulham

Havant

Horsham

London Welsh

Maidenhead

Marlborough

Tunbridge Wells

No doubt old adversaries from recent seasons Camberley will be strong contenders, as will Havant who finished 2nd this season.

We are reacquainted with Hammersmith & Fulham RFC after a season apart, Hammers being promoted from Regional 2. We also welcome back Horsham who are also promoted.

level transfers for Marlborough, Tunbridge Wells and CS Stags will see Welsh take on further sides for the first time in league club history.

Fixtures for the season are to follow by mid June (we are assured) and we will update you when these released.
