This November, London Welsh Rugby Club will be participating in Movember by growing some questionable facial hair to raise money and to support mens mental health & general health. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and please see the link at the bottom of this article!
On the 26th of November we will be dedicating the home game against Bournemouth to the Movember charity.
This charity supports Men’s health, testicular and prostate cancer. A growing number of men – around 10.8M globally – are facing life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men. Across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 69% of all suicides.
Movember is uniquely placed to address this crisis on a global scale. They are funding groundbreaking projects all over the world, engaging men where they are to understand what works best and accelerate change.
We will have donation buckets around the ground for anyone who wants to support the charity in the 26th. We also have a team page on the movember website (at the below link) for donations and for anyone that would like to join.
