LONDON WELSH AGM UPDATE

AGM postponed due to continued pandemic restrictions

With hope of the end of the pandemic restrictions near, the London Welsh RFC Annual General Meeting had been set for 22 June at Old Deer Park.

As we enter the 5th year post project reset and the 4th season (allowing for the pandemic hiatus) of the 5 year plan, eyes begin to turn at Board level to what comes next.

In reality the board has been planning for the next ‘5 year plan’ for much of the lockdown period; latterly the Board met at the beginning of June for a strategy day.

At a key point in the clubs strategic review, this years AGM takes on added significance as we seek to update members on club progress and objectives.

It is with the above in mind that we have taken the decision to postpone the AGM to a more suitable period in July/August when more members can join us both in person and online.

The AGM planned for 22 June is therefore postponed and details will follow shortly as to the rearranged date; which will be towards the end of July or the beginning of August.

Please review club media and email lists for details that will follow shortly and we look forward to seeing you all soon and to providing a full strategic update.
