As we approach the new season, we find ourselves with a variety of exciting opportunities to give back to the club across a number of areas. Please do consider giving your time to help the club or recommending it to others you know – it is a hugely rewarding experience and a great time to be part of what we do!
The roles available are:
Club Paid roles
LWWRFC HEAD COACH – Working with the Women’s Squad, training on Tuesday evenings at ODP and matches on Sundays.
LWWRFC Physio/Pitch side first aider – Match provision on Sundays.

Club Voluntary roles
- Gate Stewards for 1st XV home match days only
- Under 6’s Coaches (Sunday mornings as part of a coaching team on a rota basis)
- Operational Support Assistants (1st XV home games)
- LW Shop Assistants (match days and/or Sundays)
- Media & Comms Volunteers (to help with media articles; match day social commentary; match reports etc on rota basis)
These voluntary roles do not have to take up a lot of time, even an hour on a match day can make a huge difference, and are suitable whatever your age. They could also be great opportunities for any younger members of the LW family undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Wider Old Deer Park Sports Partnership roles
In conjunction with the other clubs at Old Deer Park, we are setting up cross club groups of volunteers aimed at working towards improving the facilities for all.
