London Welsh Women currently sit top of the league and on Sunday 18th November the Women’s team play their next home fixture against Reading (kick off 2pm).

Following this at 5:30pm in the clubhouse there will be a short dedication ceremony in memory of Maria Thompson who passed away just over a year ago.

Maria was a much loved player and Captain of the Women’s team for a number of years and also served as Chair of the amateur board and made a great contribution to the Club and women's rugby at London Welsh.

A new board displaying the Women’s team Captains and Amateur Board Chairs - “The Maria Thompson Memorial Board” will be unveiled and officially dedicated to her at the event.
