As part of their series on World Rugby, American network giants CNN, who have a world-wide audience of 384 million viewers, contacted the London Welsh Rugby Club Choir to appear as part of the programme, which explores how rugby has influenced people worldwide.
London Welsh Rugby Club Choir is of course already one of the most famous rugby choirs in the world and is no stranger to a worldwide audience having performed at the 2012 Olympic closing ceremony, the 2017 Italy v Wales game in Rome at the 6 Nations and with regular spots on both TV and Radio.
It seems natural that in a program about the history of Rugby and it's impact worldwide, London Welsh feature prominently, with our rich history and heritage the club has a central role in the life of the game that we all love. Find our more about the club choir here:
The choir were filmed singing three songs whilst their chairman Joe Jones conducted an interview on how music has shaped Welsh Rugby and the programme looks at how small industrial communities in Wales have used music to bind their people together.
The programme is being aired until July on CNN and can be viewed at the following times.
